Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre brings 24 years of shipping experience to GM&I, beginning with a role as a tugboat deckhand while attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

He advanced steadily to Captain vessels in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Opportunities ashore lead to operations management for an Alaskan-based fuel transporter. This role involved complex project management of regulated shipyard activities in remote areas, utilizing vessel crew.

A move to the Pacific Northwest led to a role as General Manager for a project-based tug and barge company specializing in construction support. Drew brings a depth of maritime-focused knowledge through vessel regulatory management, project management, new build planning through execution, and business strategy.
