  • Dee has forty five years of experience in all aspects of heavy construction and construction engineering.

    He has been a Principal of AAC for the last 30 years and sponsored numerous projects that received a National AGC-Aon Build America Award, as well as three Marvin Black Partnering Awards.

  • Jeff Gregg brings 37 years of experience in heavy manufacturing to his role as Vice President of Operations. Throughout his career, he has progressed through key leadership roles—from front-line supervisor to superintendent, manager, director, and now VP—demonstrating his commitment to operational excellence at every level. He has successfully led teams of over 1,000 people and managed projects valued up to $300 million. Known for his strategic thinking and collaborative leadership style, Jeff Gregg ensures that teams across all departments—from Estimating, Procurement and Engineering to Operations and Quality Assurance—are aligned and empowered to meet production goals.

  • Brian boasts extensive expertise in operations, project management, and business development. His commitment to precision positions him as a formidable force in driving the Gunderson vision.

  • Drew brings 24 years of shipping experience, beginning with a role as a tugboat deckhand while attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He advanced steadily to Captain vessels in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Opportunities ashore lead to operations management for an Alaskan based fuel transporter. This role involved complex project management of regulated shipyard activities in remote areas, utilizing vessel crew. A move to the Pacific Northwest led to a role as General Manager for a project-based tug and barge company specializing in construction support. Drew brings a depth of maritime focused knowledge through vessel regulatory management, project management, new build planning through execution, and business strategy.   

  • With 30 years of experience in financial management, Julie has worked alongside Dee at Advanced American Construction for over 10 years, playing a crucial role in helping to shape financial strategies for the company. Additionally, she has served as President of the CFMA Portland Chapter since 2024.  With her extensive experience in both finance and the maritime industry, Julie is poised to help lead Gunderson Marine & Iron as Chief Financial Officer.

  • Amanda brings over 15 years of HR expertise in the manufacturing industry. Certified as a PHR and SHRM-CP, she has led HR operations in fast-paced environments, focusing on talent management, safety, workforce development, and employee relations. Amanda also serves on the board of the Portland Workforce Alliance, helping local youth explore career paths into various industries. Her approach to HR centers around optimizing operational efficiency, fostering a positive work environment, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to support long-term growth.
